Ma maison crossword for near beginners. English - French translations, including definite articles and simple possessives (mon,ma,mes). I think it's worth including articles as beginners in French get very confused about this.
Listening: an extract from the 2002 Nicolas Philibert film Etre et avoir with sentences to translate and a brief oral task. Linguistically easy, but needs careful listening with repeats. Good for English AS level cinema theme.
