Text and exercises on recent reforms which aim to tackle Islamic radicalisation, especially in prisons. text, questions in French, translation sentences into French. Model answers provided. This would make a good A-level A2 level text or advanced equivalent outside England and Wales.

Oral/written grammar drill sheet on perfect tense (avoir verbs). Students have to insert the right verb, so meaning comes into play. Placed in Y9, but could work in Y10 (low intermediate).

Video listening. The song Mourir demain by Pascal Obispo with Natacha St Pier. Catchy pop song and big hit from 2003 to support teaching of conditional mood/tense. The video just displays the lyrics, so you may want to play the sound only first. Aimed at KS4 (intermediate) but could be used to revise the conditional with AS level groups (low advanced).
